Fiz-iks was recently interviewed by Dutch based street art and culture website CFYE.com. Crack For Your Eyes, or CFYE for short, as described in their words as “a platform for exploring and showcasing the thoughts and works of inspiring creative people.” If you are interested in learning a bit more about fiz-iks head on over and check it out.
During the interview discussions both sides got talking which led to an agreement for a series of collaboration projects. The first project, to be released in a few days, will be a DIY spray can style light for light writing. Fiz-iks had built the light but the final project was freaking ugly and needed some design injected into it. In a joint effort from CFYE’s in-house designer, Meneer de Zwart, and Trevor Williams of fiz-iks, created a smashing new label for this ever-so-useful light paint brush. Look for the tutorial article in the coming days.
Fiz-iks took the project one step further by turning the label into a light stencil, and creating a series of images to accompany the tutorial. The images show the spray can in action and include the stencil. The label will most likely be for download and fiz-iks will post any pictures sent in by people that have followed the tutorial and finished it off with the collaboration label.
The image to the left is a crop of the stencil from one of the collaboration images.
